The Governor’s Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee has scheduled a town hall meeting from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Oct. 19, in the Pearsall Building.
All Washington veterans, service providers and their families are invited.
According to a press release from the advisory committee, those attending will:
• Receive information on employment, education and housing benefits.
• Learn about the wide range of benefits available including compensation, pension and military funeral honors.
• Find out about counseling, financial assistance and support available to veterans and their families.
• Learn how to enroll in VA Heathcare and apply for state and federal benefits.
