Rosa (Keuerleber) Bensinger, 88, of Aberdeen Washington, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, peacefully went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ while surrounded by her family on Jan. 11, 2026.

Rosa (Keuerleber) Bensinger, 88, of Aberdeen Washington, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, peacefully went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ while surrounded by her family on Jan. 11, 2026. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Kenneth “Sonny” Bensinger, her daughter Gerri Stone and her infant son Kenneth Bensinger.

Born in West Germany on Aug. 5, 1937, Rosa graduated from high school in Ansbach, West Germany. She later met and fell in love with our father, Kenneth (Sonny) while he was serving in the Army and stationed in Germany. They married on Dec. 28, 1957, in Delaware. She was extremely proud when she successfully tested and became a citizen of the United States of America.

Rosa was a member of the South Union Church of God in Tumwater, Washington. She was a Certified Nurses Aide for many years, a job that she especially enjoyed, retiring from that profession. She loved shopping, camping and traveling with her husband. Rosa’s favorite place was Leavenworth, Washington where she and her family visited frequently, making beautiful memories. She also enjoyed landscaping in her yard by which she took great pride in.

Rosa is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth “Sonny”, her daughter Gerri Stone, and her 10-day-old son Kenneth Bensinger. She is also preceded in death by her parents Hans and Maria (Fick) Keuerleber, six brothers: Werner, Rudi, Conrad, Hans, Karl, and Erhard: and three sisters: Frieda Moore, Elsie Hiedrich and Marie Watkins.

Rosa is survived by her three daughters: Betta (Robert) Failor of Aberdeen Washington, Christine (Daniel) Work of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Helen Bensinger of Aberdeen Washington; three sons: Alfie Bensinger of Aberdeen, Washington; Kenneth (Brianna) Bensinger of Aberdeen, Washington; and Elmer (Marianne) Bensinger of Chattaroy, Washington, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
