Frankie M. Werth, 88, of Ocean Shores, Washington, passed away on Feb. 20, 2022.
Frankie was born on July 21, 1933, in New York. It was here that she met her husband, William Werth, at a local roller-skating rink. They married in 1951, and she followed her husband around the country as the wife of a Marine.
In 1953, Frankie had her one and only child, Laura. After Bill left the Marines, he joined the police force in Roseburg, Oregon. This began their long life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. After moving around for a few years, Bill and Frankie settled in Portland, Oregon.
After retiring from Bank of America, Frankie and Bill bought a home in Ocean Shores and became snow birds, going south during the winter.
Frankie enjoyed gardening and her yard was the envy of many but the snack of even more deer that call Ocean Shores their home. It was a constant struggle for Frankie, one that she often gave up on and just enjoyed watching the baby deer in her backyard.
Frankie lived in Ocean Shores until an illness required her to move to Puyallup, Washington where she lived for a year before passing away.
Frankie is preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Bill, and her beloved only child, Laura. Frankie leaves behind her granddaughters, Jennifer Gregory and Courtney Gregory.
Services will be held at the Elks Club, 199 Ocean Lake Way SE, Ocean Shores, WA 98569, on March 20, 2022 at 10 a.m.
