Melvin Leroy Thompson

Melvin Leroy Thompson, age 87, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at his home in Hoquiam.

He had been a longtime educator for Hoquiam Schools and had worked as an independent carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at the Hoquiam United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
