On the morning of May 1, crews moved one lane of U.S. Highway 12 onto the new westbound bridge over Camp Creek near Montesano. This was the first of six new bridges completed between Montesano and Elma. Once crews reconfigured the temporary median lane, both directions of travel shifted onto the new bridge for about a year.
