Daniel “Ray” Schrock

Ray Schrock, 49, of Aberdeen, Wash. passed away on March 28, 2018, due to a stroke. Ray was born March 22, 1969, in Boise, Idaho to Dan and Kathleene (Baler) Schrock. He grew up in Tetonia, Idaho on a cattle farm and moved to Tonasket, Wash. when he was five.

Ray excelled in 4-H, rodeoing and racing cars. He was a Jack of all trades and had many talents, including making custom leather gun holsters. Ray worked at many jobs but his most recent was in construction for Rognlin’s.

Ray loved camping, fishing, clamming and hunting. Above all though, Ray loved kids. No kid in the neighborhood went hungry or had a broken bicycle.

Ray is survived by his wife, Sheila; children Justin and Jocalynn of the family home, Melisa of Riverside, Wash, Taylor of Driggs, Idaho; his parents, Dan and Kathleene Schrock of Tonasket, Wash.; sister Bonnie (Dave) Crockett of Omak, Wash. and three grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life at 609 Walker Road, Hoquiam, Wash, starting at 2 p.m. on July 7, and going until July 8. Please bring your favorite dish and stories to tell. Plenty of room for tents and campers.
