Is this really what you expected when you voted?
1. The indiscriminate killing of our American citizens and the murders of innocent people.
2. The flagrant disregard for due process, when federal officers illegally arrest, mistreat, jail and even kill, people who are innocently going about their daily lives or exercising their constitutional right of peaceful protest.
3. For congress not to hold the president accountable for blatantly ignoring our laws.
These illegal crimes will live in the souls of those who committed them, but all of us will have to live with the knowledge of knowing we did not do enough to stop these tragedies if we do not do everything within our power to put an end to this now.
To conclude, further delay in releasing the Epstein files is unacceptable. Congress must demand immediate disclosure and take action if compliance is not forthcoming.

Rep. Walsh commentary misguided
On Jan. 28, The Daily World printed an op-ed by Rep. Walsh, R-Aberdeen, wherein he accused Democratic leaders of inflaming emotions.
He points to statements made following the murder of Alex Pretti. He forwards this after the Trump Administration wasted no time in slandering Mr. Pretti only to be shown as liars shortly thereafter. Then he concludes that people are upset because Gov. Ferguson is escalating the situation.
ICE escalated this situation from the start. They hit the streets in full military gear and then proceeded to act like an occupation force engaging in irresponsible tactics from the start. They claim they are doing targeted actions. If so, then how is it they have repeatedly targeted citizens? And if it is targeted, then why do they insist on using racial appearances as probable cause? Now, this same, lawless agency wants to conduct raids based on administrative warrants that lack even the protections of Writs of Assistance of the Colonial Era. If you disagree, then you will be branded a terrorist for being in lawful possession of a firearm.
In one fell swoop, this agency has moved against the First, Second, Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights of the citizens. The agency responsible for inflaming emotions is the one using its authority in a reckless manner with no care for its Constitutional responsibilities. I am finding it hard to think of a single principle the Republican Party hasn’t turned its back on when they inconvenienced its leader.
I believe that Rep. Walsh has no respect for anybody that is not in lockstep with his ideas. I am firmly convinced that he would like to see fine citizens like Ms. Good and Mr. Pretti removed from the culture. Well, it ain’t gonna happen.
