It is with great sadness that our family announce that Richard Wayne Lillie passed away very peacefully at our family home on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 with his son and wife by his side.

Richard married the love of his life. Jeanie (Wickwire) Lillie, on Aug. 26, 1978, at his family home in Satsop, Washington. Jeanie still resides in their home in Elma. They had one son, Ricky Lillie, who married Mara Ceballos. They then had granddaughters, Mia Lillie, Alexandera Lillie, and Sophia Hamilton, all of Elma.

Richard was born in Elma, Washington, and grew up in the Upper Satsop Area. He went to school at Mary M. Knight and graduated in 1973. He joined the Navy on May 23, 1974 and was honorably discharged on Feb. 26, 1979. He was stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia, and was on the USS Puget Sound.

He went to the Church of God in Elma and was a member of the VFW and the Eagles Club as well. His hobbies included spending time with his family, playing pool, darts, fishing, hunting, and pinball.

Memorials may be made to the Church of God in Elma.

Richard is survived by his wife, Jeanie Lillie of Elma; his mother Joan (Lonnie) Adams, of Olympia; son Ricky (Mara) Lillie and their children, Mia, Alexandera, and Sophia, all of Elma; brother Randy (Debbie) Lillie; his stepbrothers Mike Adams and Jerry Adams of Seattle; brother-in-law Bill Holt of Elma; and many nieces and nephews, some of which referred to Richard as “Dad” rather than “Uncle” and their children, who lovingly referred to him as “Grandpa.”

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Wayne Lillie; and his sisters Karen Phongluantham and Peggy Holt.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary.
