Mary LeaRae Eckersley, a beloved wife and mother as well as a long-time resident of Ocean Shores since 1970, passed away peacefully on Nov. 29, 2025, at the age of 86. She will be remembered for her love of family and warm heart.

She is survived by her husband, Roy, of 67 years and children, Mike, Mary, Kathleen, Helen and Maureen. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Michele. She is also a grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 12.
