Helen was born at home in Brady, Washington and fit in an old bread pan.
Helen was involved in community activities for most of her life and was considered by some to be a pillar because of her work. She was on the tourism board, a member of the McCleary City Council, a lifetime member of the Chamber of Commerce, an Eagles lifetime member, but her biggest passion was sitting on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center in Montesano, Washington.
Helen is survived by her husband, Steve (they were married 10 years and together for over 20 years); stepsons Sean, Danby and Travis with their partners; grandchildren: Amy, Angie and Ross and great-grandchildren: Noah, Abbe, Kayla, Danica, Dru and Cheyenne.
She was preceded in death by her two children, Russell and Chris.
Helen was always helping someone, relative or not, and got the nickname of “Aunt Helen” by the people she was helping.
There will be no large celebration because of COVID, so please remember and celebrate Helen in your own way.
Helen will always be remembered as a caring, giving and loving person by all those who knew her.
We will miss your smile. Love
