Billiejo (Beck) Burley, 64, of Buckley, Washington, was born Jan. 28, 1957, to Merritt and Nadine Beck in Aberdeen. She passed away Nov. 21, 2021, at Tacoma General Hospital due to complications from diabetes.
Billiejo was raised in Hoquiam and Aberdeen. She attended Weatherwax High School. Billiejo was a Class A swimmer.
After high school Billiejo moved to Great Falls, Montana where she met and married Michael T. Burley on June 25, 1983. Together they moved back to Granite Falls, Washington where they welcomed twin daughters, Chancee and Dacia, and son, Mikey, later moving to Buckley to raise their family.
When her children were raised, Billiejo worked 15 years for Rite-Aid in Enumclaw until her health drew her to early retirement.
Billiejo was a true lover of animals and never let a stray walk away. She loved to bake and cook. No one ever left her home hungry.
Billiejo is survived by her husband, Michael of Buckley; daughters, Dacia Burley and Chancee (Ben and Alice) Burley both of Buckley and son Mikey (Cole) Burley of Portland, Oregon; brothers John (Mollie) Beck of Lacey and Robert (Etta) Beck of Cosmopolis; sisters: Juanita (Jon) Hamlin of Camano Island, Kathy (Mark) of Mount Vernon and Tawney (Hal) Jorgensen of Eatonville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Billiejo was preceded in death by two sons, Jeremy William and Shannon Michael, her parents Merritt and Nadine Beck and brother, Mickael (Mike) Beck.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
