Clubbers open 2019 season with 7th place finish

The ARO Glass Clubbers opened their 2019 season with a seventh place finish at the Rock N’ Reno Senior Softball Challenge Cup on June 2 in Reno, Nevada.

The Clubbers went 4-2 during the tournament and were led by Wayne Ross, who hit .870 with five home runs and 18 RBI over six games.

John Delia also had an outstanding week at the plate. The Grays Harbor resident hit .636 with three home runs and 15 RBI for the Clubbers.

Bob Paylor (.765) and Mike Hartley (.588, 9 RBI) also contributed to the Clubbers’ tournament success.
