ALS fundraising golf tournament Aug. 17

The second annual Take a Hack Against ALS golf tournament will tee off on Aug. 17 at Highland Golf Course.

Proceeds from the event will go toward Lou Gehrig’s Disease research and will also aid patients and their families from around the Harbor.

The event will include 18 holes of golf, a men’s and women’s longest drive contest and a closest to the pin contest.

There is also a $5,000 hole in one prize pool.

There is a $100 per person entry fee and a $400 fee per team.
