Willapa Valley Vikings seniors Grace Huber and Lauryn McGough were named to the 1B Columbia Valley All-League Volleyball Team for the 2022 season.
Huber (middle blocker/outside hitter) and McGough (outside hitter) paced the Vikings through a run in the 1B District 4 Tournament and berth in the state championships.
In a 3-1 win over Pe Ell in the district quarterfinals on Nov. 2, Huber had 11 kills, 18 digs and 18 blocks (eight solo) while McGough recorded 17 digs and 17 kills.
Pe Ell Trojan Payton Peterson was named to the second team.
Earning Honorable Mention nods were Willapa Valley’s Gaby Quezada and Ella Petit, and Pe Ell’s Charlie Carper.
