Aberdeen had a big day at the plate to earn a 20-4 victory over Shelton in a 2A Evergreen Conference game on Wednesday in Shelton.

The Bobcats (8-1, 3-0 2A Evergreen) put up plenty of crooked numbers, scoring four runs in each of the first and fourth innings and scored 11 runs in the top of the sixth to earn a mercy-rule victory.

Two of those extra-base hits came in the form of home runs.

Starting pitcher/first baseman Lilly Camp belted a two-run shot in the first inning while first baseman/pitcher Annika Hollingsworth led off the fourth with a solo shot, her fifth round-tripper of the season.
