ABERDEEN — Bryan Danielson, known the world around as former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, speaks with members of the media while paying a visit to his alma mater Aberdeen High School on Wednesday while on a promotional tour for the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game.

While visiting his old high school, Bryan said it’s important for fans to know where he’s come from to appreciate where he is now.

“I love being back home. Me and my wife live in Phoenix (Arizona) and as much as we live there this still feels like home,” he said. “People think my home town is Seattle, but it’s here. To understand my career you have to understand the starting point and this is a starting point for me.”
