Paul Stephan Mollett, 57, a longtime resident of Grays Harbor passed away on May 15, 2022.

Paul Stephan Mollett, 57, a longtime resident of Grays Harbor passed away on May 15, 2022, at home in Hoquiam. Paul was born on April 29, 1965, to Clifford and Sally (Cardinalli) Mollett. Paul was the second of four children.

After growing up and attending schools in Aberdeen, Paul moved to the Monterey, California area in 1980 and worked various jobs. In September of 1986 Paul became a father to Starlight Moon, his only child.

Around 1998, Paul moved to Tacoma, Washington working primarily at a service station in Lakewood. In early 2000, Paul started a career as a truck driver, driving all over the lower 48 states for various companies, last driving for Stryder Motor Freight in Kent when he retired.

Paul earned his GED from Grays Harbor Community College in the 1990s and then doing online classes received his AAS in Medical Coding in 2007.

Paul spent the last few years working in customer service at the local AM/PM in Hoquiam until he was forced to retire due to his declining health in 2020.

Paul was a big fan of Nascar, WWE wrestling, the Seattle Seahawks and the Mariners. Paul was a big sports fan, but also found happiness caring for his dogs.

Paul is survived by his daughter Starlight Moon, granddaughters Lily and Hailee Mauter of Hoquiam, his older brother Brian (Gloria) Mollett, sister Nicole Owens (Stefan), younger brother Matthew (Frances) Mollett, Nieces India Owens and Kalee Maxwell and nephew Samuel Owens, as well as a large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins and his partner in life Fancie Mowich-Mollett who took care of him and was with him when he passed.

Paul was preceded in death by both of his parents.

There are no services scheduled at this time but a memorial will be planned at a future date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. Please feel free to leave comments and or memories of Paul at the Fern Hill website, www.fernhill.com.
