Marian Mae Tanis passed away on June 30, 2022. She was born on April 19, 1958, to Mervin and Margaret (Hoffman) Wharton in Aberdeen, Washington. She was raised in Aberdeen and attended Weatherwax High School.

Marian worked for the Polynesian Resort in Ocean Shores for 20+ years. She liked to garden, go on drives, go to garage sales, and spending time with her family and most of all her grandbabies.

She is survived by her partner Bruce Montoure at their home in Hoquiam; daughters Erin Tanis, Christina Valentine and Katie Jahoda; sisters Marsha Corning and Marie Deebach; and five grandchildren.
