Do you enjoy meeting interesting people from around the world? Are you passionate about promoting local businesses in Grays Harbor? If so, then volunteering in the Greater Grays Harbor Visitor Information Center may be the perfect summer activity for you.
Every year, thousands of guests arrive at the Visitor Information Center looking for information on the local area. Many tourists are in search of local hotels, maps of Grays Harbor and the Olympic National Park, somewhere to stop and a host of other information best provided by someone familiar with the area.
The ideal volunteer will possess great customer service and speaking skills and is comfortable greeting guests and distributing brochures, all while ensuring that visitors feel welcome while they enjoy their time in Grays Harbor, say representatives of the center. The Greater Grays Harbor Visitor Information Center welcomes tourists from a variety of foreign countries including Australia, Germany, Argentina and many other countries, making for interesting and memorable conversation.
