The WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor-Pacific counties have awarded the 2021 Don Tapio Master Gardener scholarship to Jasmine Raab, a senior at Elma High School.

Raab plans to attend the University of Washington, majoring in biology. Veterinary school is one option she is considering after receiving her college degree.

The $1,000 scholarship honors Don Tapio, longtime WSU Extension educator in Grays Harbor County. It is available to seniors who intend to pursue an academic major in horticulture, life sciences or a related field.
