Montesano resident Theresa Ann Wincewicz, 61, passed away peacefully at her home early Saturday morning March 24, 2018. Theresa was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Aberdeen, Wash., to John and Phyllis (Finch) Cornwell. She was raised in Montesano and graduated from Montesano High School in 1975.

Theresa worked for The Daily World from 1976 to 1999, where she became the Ad Director. She has been working at Five Star Dealerships for the past 18 years as the Media Coordinator.

On May 20, 1993, she married Michael K. Wincewicz at Cape Canaveral, Fla. He survives her at the family home.

Theresa loved spending time with her family and friends on the river at the family farm and going on trips to tropical destinations.

In addition to her loving husband Michael she is also survived by her children, Brian Vasquez of Montesano, Jamie Brueher (Nate) of Tacoma, Casey Wincewicz (Christina) of Bakersfield, Calif., and Sean Wincewicz (Kira) of Hillsboro, Ore.; her parents John and Phyllis Cornwell of Montesano; sister Dee Dee Garman (Larry) of Montesano and 10 grandchildren Cameron, Devin, Jayde, Brenan, Ava, Kaylee, Belle, Cavan, Riley and Baylee.

At her request there will be no formal services. A celebration will be planned for friends and family in the near future. Memorials are suggested to the United Way of Grays Harbor.
