Longtime Hoquiam resident, Elizabeth “Betty” Passick, died on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at a local nursing home.

She was born in Hoquiam to John and Vera (Warculis) Passick on March 19, 1920, joining a sister, Agnes Mae (Passick) Lind, all deceased.

Betty graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1938 and worked in offices in Seattle and Grays Harbor, retiring from the Grays Harbor PUD in 1982.

She enjoyed traveling, visiting five continents and playing golf, and being a member of the Highlands Golf Course, Women’s Club for many years.

Betty Passick is survived by a nephew, Larry Lind and cousins in Lithuania.

Private inurnment will be held at the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam.
