Four Aberdeen bowlers roll 250-plus series scores in win over Olympia

Aberdeen opened the season with its third straight bowling victory with a 1,498-1,422 win over Olympia on Tuesday at Rainier Lanes.

Four Aberdeen bowlers recorded a series score of 250 or higher as the Bobcats won Game 1 699-569 but fell in Game 2 597-559.

Aberdeen split the Baker games with Olympia, winning the first by a score of 146-136 before dropping the second 110-104.

Aberdeen’s Sierra Hammond had the high-game for the Bobcats, bowling a 158 in her first game. Hammond finished with a series score of 260, joining Victoria Judkins (267), Maggie Reyes (266) and Juli Villa (253) as Bobcats that knocked over at least 250 pins over the two games.

Next up for the Bobcats is an Evergreen League match against perennial-power Shelton on Dec. 2 in Shelton.
