Jump makes the leap, will play for Chokers

Hoquiam High School golfer Michael Jump signed a Letter of Intent to attend Grays Harbor College next fall.

Jump, a four-year varsity golfer for the Grizzlies, won the 1A District IV championship and the Evergreen/Trico MVP award in 2019 and qualified for the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association State Championships twice in his prep career.

Jump has four top-10 finishes on the Rocky Mountain Junior GolfTour and is a Washington State Junior Golf Association state qualifier.

“We are excited to have Michael join the Choker linksmen squad next fall,” Chokers head coach Ann Swanson said of the Hoquiam product’s signing.
