Raymond resident Vicki L. Triplett-Flemetis passed away on March 11, 2022, at the Willapa Harbor Hospital.

Vicki was born in Raymond, Washington on Dec. 25, 1951, to Jon and Shirley (Baird) Triplett. She was a 1970 graduate from South Bend High School.

Vicki married Ron Flemetis in May 1984. They merged their two families of four sons and one daughter. They then added another daughter of their own.

Vicki had a very successful career working for the Port of Willapa Harbor, John Wolfe, attorney at law and 24 years at Pacific County most of which was in the Prosecutor’s Office where she was also the Deputy Coroner for several years. She also served and dedicated over 20 years as a Raymond City Council member. Her strong work ethic and high standards garnered respect and support from co-workers and employees alike.

She is survived by her husband Ron Flemetis of the family home in Raymond, a son Pat (Tori) Matlock of Raymond, a daughter Katie Flemetis of Westport, stepchildren Ron (Shelly) Flemetis of Raymond, Shane (Janel) Flemetis of Raymond and Jamie Flemetis of Raymond.

She is also survived by three sisters: Jeanne (John) Ledford of Raymond, Janis (Alex) Cardenas of South Bend and Deborah (Skip) Allison of South Bend and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Vicki also took pride in helping raise two grandchildren, Elissa Sedy and Max Flemetis.

Preceding her in death were her parents Jon and Shirley Triplett and her beloved son Ty Matlock. Vicki took pride in sponsoring a girls T-ball team each year in his name — Ty’s Angels.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Vicki Flemetis to the Willapa Harbor Girls Softball Association at P.O. Box 334, Raymond, WA 98577.

Per Vicki’s request, no services will be held.
