Sharon Rose Painter (Warwick), an Aberdeen resident, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 in Aberdeen.

Sharon Rose Painter (Warwick), 80, an Aberdeen resident, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen, Washington.

Sharon was born on Oct. 13, 1941, in Aberdeen to parents Hal Amos Warwick and Rosella Violet Lee. Sharon grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from J.M. Weatherwax in 1959. In 1960, Sharon joined the U.S. Navy and became a WAVE in the women’s reserves.

In 1971, Sharon married Charles Painter. They lived in Aberdeen and built their lives together until his passing in 2016.

Sharon was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and her favorite hobby was counted cross stitch.

Sharon is survived by her brother, Ronald H. Warwick and his wife, Laura Warwick, of Aberdeen; father in law, Charles Painter Sr, 98, and brother in law, Daniel Painter both of Axford Prairie, Washington.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Painter Jr.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen with reception to follow at Harbor Calvary Church in Aberdeen.

Service arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home, in Aberdeen, Washington.
