Robert Bruce Garrow passed away Oct. 21, 2021, in Centralia Washington at the age of 65.

Rob was the second oldest of Pollyann and Edward Garrow’s children. Born Dec. 1, 1955, in Aberdeen Washington. Robert attended and graduated from Hoquiam public schools in 1974. He married his high school sweetheart Loris Bussabarger, and together they had four children before parting ways.

Rob spent his entire career in the cedar shake industry, early on in Grays Harbor working in the woods and area mills. Years later he moved to Lewis County where old injuries demanded he switch gears, so Robert went to Centralia College and received a business degree which allowed him to transition into an office as a cedar broker.

Rob was known to friends and family for his humor. He was quite the comedian. He truly could put a smile on anyone’s face. He was always ready with the next joke or prank.

Rob is survived by his four children, Melissa: Robbie, Kevin and Danny, their spouses, 15 grandchildren, his siblings, Brian and Lauri, and their families and his late brother Terry’s spouse and family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents and brother.

Rob will be greatly missed by family and the many friends he’s met along the way. A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
