Patsy Lee “Patty” Hochstetler passed away at the age of 74 on Oct. 8, 2022.

Patsy Lee “Patty” Hochstetler passed away at the age of 74 on Oct. 8, 2022. She was born on Dec. 18, 1947, in Denver, Colorado to Andrew and Albina Riedel. She was raised in Thorton, Colorado. She worked for Fluke Corp. as a quality assurance inspector until she retired in 1990, and moved to the Grays Harbor area in 1991.

On Feb. 27, 1965, Patty married Wallace “Wally” Hochstetler. They were married for 52 years before Wally passed in 2017.

Patty enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking and her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her sons Brian (Stacey) Hochstetler of Stanwood, Washington and Kevin (Michelle) Hochstetler of Aberdeen, Washington; daughters Cheryl (Mike) Oberg of Arlington, Washington; Tammy Bean of Lakewood, Washington and Angela (Chris) Jordan of Aberdeen; brothers James, Newt and Richard Riedel; sister Charlene Suppes; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings Art Riedel, Betty Wagman and Judy Hochstetler.
