Patricia Hope Fauber, 74, longtime Aberdeen resident and former nurse’s aide, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at her home in Aberdeen.

Patricia Hope Fauber, 74, longtime Aberdeen resident and former nurse’s aide, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at her home in Aberdeen.

Patricia was born on Nov. 9, 1942, in Orlando, Fla. to Curtis and Mary Ruth (Logue) Story. She was married in Pensacola, Fla. and relocated to Washington with her husband. She was later divorced. She worked as an operator for Southern Bell in Orlando until 1970 when she moved to Aberdeen.

She went to work for Pacific Northwest Bell. Later she went to work at Harbor Heath Care in South Aberdeen as a nurse’s aide and then at Grays Harbor Health and Rehab Center for 10 years.

Patricia loved to crochet, being with the grandkids, collecting salt and pepper shakers and when she was younger she enjoyed traveling the western United States with the Hoquiam Ramblers motorcycle club.

Patricia is survived by a son Timmy (Carla) Fauber of Woodinville, Wash.; daughters: Trudy Lorenzen of Anchorage, Alaska, Terri (Paul) Ames of Aberdeen and Tammy (Mark) Talevich of Hoquiam; mother Mary Story of Orlando, Fla.; brothers: Edwin Story, Wayne (JoAnn) Story and David (Gail) Story all of Orlando, Fla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Curtis Story and her brother Eugene Story.
