Phyllis J. Gonigam

Weatherwax High School alumna Phyllis Joanne Gonigam of Alexandria, Virginia died March 15, 2024, in Alexandria. She was 76.

While living in Aberdeen she sang in the Civic Choir and played violin in the Grays Harbor Symphony. She moved to Alexandria in 1994.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church in Alexandria on June 1, 2024 at 1:30 Eastern Daylight Time.

A graveside service for Aberdeen resident Charles Church, who died April 16 in Klamath Falls, Oregon, will be held at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2 p.m.
