Maria “Crazy” CollinsJune 8, 1957 — May 12, 2021

Maria “Crazy” Collins died peacefully surrounded by family at UW Medical Center.

Maria “Crazy” Collins, a longtime resident of Amanda Park, Washington; Humptulips, Washington; Modesto, California, and everywhere else she has ever been, because everywhere was home and everyone was family, died peacefully surrounded by family at UW Medical Center.

Maria was full of life and lived life to the fullest. She will be remembered as a caring woman who would help anyone in need.

She was a loving mother and amazing grandmother and great-grandmother, and friend to all.

She was charming and smart and had a great sense of humor. She was the life of the party which I’m sure she is right now in Heaven.

She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son Jesse Velez, daughter Joann Velez, daughter Lena Apodaca, granddaughters: Nancy Velez, Jessica Velez, Alex Velez and Jessa Dream Lity; grandson Jesse Velez, and great-grandsons: Tyson Velez, Ryan Rabey and Cole Rabey.
