Jerry A. Thome

Jerry Arden Thome, 75 years of age and a Harborite for the past six years, went to join his Lord on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017. He was born on April 25, 1942, in Merced, Calif.

Jerry had resided in the Republic and Kettle Falls areas in the late 1990s before coming to the harbor area where he had since resided.

He retired from being a precious metal miner for over 40 years.

Jerry was a respected man by all who met him. He had many hobbies, to include camping, fishing, gardening and spending quality time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his daughters, Debbie Lawley of Moab, Utah and Lisa Thome of Aberdeen, Wash.; a son, Brian Thome of Yakima, Wash.; three grandchildren, Gary Arnold of Spokane, Wash., Tara Alsip of Vernal, Utah, and Jason Jensen of Vernal, Utah; a brother, Marlin Thome of Portland, Ore. and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Willedeen Gillette; his father Frank Joseph Thome and his wife, Daisy “June” Thome.

A celebration of his life will be held later.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam, Wash.
