Attorney James R. Short passed away peacefully in his sleep on Aug. 1, 2022, at his home.

He is survived by his wife Marilynn of 52 years and their three grown sons and their families.

A service will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Federal Way on Monday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m.
