Doris Renee Dorosky-Anderson, 80, Aberdeen resident and former employee of Evans Plywood, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Puget Sound Healthcare Center in West Olympia, Wash.

Doris Renee Dorosky-Anderson, 80, Aberdeen resident and former employee of Evans Plywood, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Puget Sound Healthcare Center in West Olympia, Wash.

Doris was born on April 12, 1937, in Port Townsend, Wash. to Edgar and Ellen Olive (Curtis) Anderson. She grew up in Port Townsend. She also lived in Yuma, Ariz., Alaska, Salem, Ore. and Pennsylvania.

She worked for 15 years at Evans Plywood. She also worked with her husband at Broten Trucking here in the Harbor.

Doris enjoyed helping people and loved playing the lottery.

Doris is survived by three sons: Gino (Cindy) DeAlexandro of Central Park, Wash., Nick (Roberta) Wakefield of Hoquiam and Michael (Jolene) Anderson of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters: Jaymee Abear of Aberdeen, Wash. and Patsy Hunt of Aberdeen, Wash.; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Devorah Russell in 2013, two brothers: Jimmy and Leon Anderson.

There will be a celebration of Doris’s life on Thursday, June 15, at 1 p.m. in the Central Park Foursquare Church.
