Dee was born in Seattle on June 19th, 1970 to Velma and Morris Walton. She attended Hoquiam High School and her graduating class was 1988.

In her younger years Dee was employed at Boeing Aircraft Company, where she was responsible for assembling the wings. She was a member of the Hoquiam Police Explorers Program when she was a teenager. She was a part of the ride alongs and enjoyed learning the “behind the scenes” with the police officers. She also worked several years as a merchandiser with the Franz Bakery Company. Dee was a trusted and faithful employee. Everyone she worked with loved her zest for life, humor and friendship.

Dee was a true artist! She loved expressing her creativity in a wide variety of ways including drawing, painting and cooking new recipes. Dee was best known (famous) for her amazing cake decorating creations. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. Dee will be remembered as a selfless, strong woman who always had a smile.

Dee’s most recent love was being “NANA” to her two grandchildren, Zoë (age 4) and Levi (age 1.5). She loved spending time with them and spoiling them!

She is survived by her children who made up the entirety of her world, Sabrina Clark-Njoroge (age 29), Joann Jenkins (age 26), McKenzie (age 24) and Austin (son-in-law age 28) Smith, and only son McGyver Jenkins (age 24). She raised her children with love and devotion with her husband Tillman Jenkins (age 56).

Aside from the children she doted on, Dee was preceded in death by her brother Steve Walton and is survived by her mother, Velma Turpin, stepfather, Dennis Turpin and brother Mike Walton.
