Clinton A. Jones Sr.

Clinton A. Jones Sr., an 85-year-old resident of Montesano for the past 55 years, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 6, 2023. He was born Nov. 22, 1937, in Ingham County, Michigan.

He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather.

During his lifetime, he enjoyed working on vehicles and was employed as a mechanic by Whitney’s in Montesano for over 25 years. He also was an avid outdoorsman and gun enthusiast who enjoyed hunting and dirt bike riding.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maxine Jones of Montesano, his son Clinton A. Jones Jr. of Central Park, two daughters, Susan Oliver of Montesano and Dawn Causey of Aberdeen, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Central Park Neighborhood Church, 7010 Bryrwood Drive, Aberdeen, Washington.
