Bonnie Jean Maynard, 75, passed away in her home on Oct. 29, 2021.

Loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, Bonnie Jean Maynard, 75, passed away in her home on Oct. 29, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.

Bonnie was born in Aberdeen, Washington Oct. 18, 1946, to O.L. “Pat” Murphy and Mildred Latio Murphy. Here she attended Weatherwax High School where she was in the graduating class of 1965. Shortly after graduation, Bonnie married Mark Maynard in Aberdeen. They were married 56 wonderful years as of Sept. 17. Three years after they were married, they moved to Cosmopolis where they have resided since.

She was a bookkeeper for a family grocery business for over 40 years

During her life, Bonnie enjoyed many things, but her family always came first. She loved gardening, fishing and her favorite — the casino. She never missed out on her bi-yearly Reno trips and very much enjoyed being a backseat driver. Bonnie was a part of numerous clubs throughout her life — more notably her card club, and her young mothers club in the ’70s.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Mark, son Mark G. Maynard of Cosmopolis; daughter Kari (Kevin) Baretich of the Wishkah Valley; brother Rian (Sue) Murphy of Wildomar, California; grandchildren Josh (Riki) Schaben and Hailee Baretich; great-grandchildren: Colton Lee Schaben and Lainey Jean Schaben; brother-in-law Kirk (Lorrie) Maynard; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Pat and Mildred; siblings: Ray Brunstrom, Dan Murphy, Karen Tonelli (Rich) and Maureen Woods.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made to PAWS of Grays Harbor and/or the Union Gospel Mission.
