Trooper breaks window after dog locks car with infant inside

A Washington State Patrol Trooper broke out the window of a car in Elma Monday to extract a 3-month-old infant and a dog from the locked car.

Trooper Chelsea Hodgson Tweeted that “an excited dog jumped on the door locks, trapping itself and a 3-month-old infant inside. The baby was showing signs of distress, but quickly calmed after being reunited with mom. Both are doing well.”
