Wild Fish Conservancy photo The Department of Fish and Wildlife is looking for somebody willing to place a fish trap in Willapa Bay or one of the rivers that pour into it. The department wants to see if fish traps, like this experimental one on the lower Columbia River, could be a productive alternate gear option for commercial fishermen and allow more specific targeting of hatchery fish over wild fish.
