Wrong ship

The Daily World was not informed the vessel used in the Westport disaster training exercise Tuesday had been changed from the USS Rushmore to the USS Anchorage before the exercise.

Wrong name

The Daily World incorrectly identified one of Suzie Marie’s helpers at the Cosmopolis lemonade stand benefit for the local fire department as Joe Vessey; her name is Zoe.

AS A MATTER OF POLICY, The Daily World will publish corrections of errors in fact that have been printed in the newspaper. The corrections will be made as soon as possible after the error has been brought to the attention of Editor Doug Barker at 360-537-3923.
