The 2021 quilt raffled by the Willapa Harbor Quilters has found a new home with winner Heather Umstead-Hines, shown with her husband, Jonathan Hines. The couple live in Vancouver, but are in the process of building a cabin in Bay Center. Their ticket was drawn at the end of the Pacific County Fair on Aug. 28, 2021. Proceeds from the raffle go toward the Willapa Harbor Quilters’ project of making patriotic quilts for Pacific County veterans. To date, more than 200 quilts have been presented to local veterans.
