Autumn color photo walk

Friends of Shaffer and Lake Sylvia will be holding two small group walks this autumn to explore the world of photography in local state parks, according to a press release from the organization.

The first event starts at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Schafer State Park. The Lake Sylvia walk is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3.

The group will be working on photo composition and will be for all types of cameras from digital to SLR to cellphones. Everyone from beginners to experienced photographers, who are willing to share their expertise, is invited.

“The purpose is to show the community the many, different ways that we can enjoy our state parks. Participants may choose to remain with the group or take an independent approach,” says Linda Ronholt, FOSLS Publicity Chair.

Masks will be required for all participants.
