The former two-story residence — at 215 N. H St., in Aberdeen — was razed with an excavator on Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2022. The house was demolished three days after a fire, which claimed the life of an Aberdeen man, that the Aberdeen Police Department has determined to be an act of arson. Andrew Kelly, who joined the North Beach School District (NBSD) in July 2018, will resign from his position as superintendent effective June 30, 2022. Kelly’s contract had previously been renewed through June 2025, but was ended through a mutual agreement following and investigation into information levied against that he shared with the NBSD Board of Directors.
