BS BBQ, starring a trio of Aberdeen High School teachers and one of their sons, won Summerfest’s People’s Choice award for best tri-tip beef, won the beans category during the official BBQ competition and placed third in the ribs category. The team — of Jesse Winter and his son, William Rabung and John Kranich — raked in a total of $600 for their efforts.
