Two dead in murder/suicide identified

They were found dead early Wednesday

The two individuals found dead after a 911 call just after midnight Wednesday morning north of Montesano have been identified.

The Grays Harbor County Coroner’s Office has identified them as Sean Brorby, 44, of Montesano, and Erin Rae Lyons, 45, of Woodinville, said Grays Harbor County Coroner George Kelley in a news release.

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident, but no further suspects are being sought, said Chief of Special Services Paul Logan in an interview. The case is being treated as a murder/suicide, Logan said.

The initial 911 call described a pair of individuals having a conversation on Fern Lane, off Wynoochee Valley Road, followed by gunshots. Responding law enforcement personnel found Lyons dead, pulled back for reinforcements, and moved in, finding Brorby dead as well. A single handgun was recovered from the scene, The Daily World previously reported.

Evidence has been turned over to the state crime lab, Logan said.
