Are you hoping to polish up your photography skills?

Washington photographer Todd Ellingburg of Newport will offer an introduction for amateur digital photographers. This presentation is designed for anyone who is ready to make the leap from a point-and-shoot to a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera.

He will share pictures he has taken and illustrate techniques he uses in different types of photo situations, such as landscapes or outdoor action shots.

The free class will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Aberdeen Timberland Library.
