AHS sends athletes to state tournaments

Aberdeen High School students gathered at the front steps of the school under a bright blue sky on Thursday to send off their classmates who will be participating at state tournaments this weekend.

The Aberdeen boys swimming team will send two relay teams and one individual entry to this weekend’s state 2A championship meet at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.

Girls wrestlers will compete Friday starting at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at Mat Classic XXXII the Tacoma Dome.
