Grays Harbor County Fair is a go for four days in August

The Grays Harbor County Fair is a go, with four days scheduled at the fairgrounds in Elma the first week of August.

“With the ‘reopening’ of Washington State and the relaxed restriction on fairs and large events, we’re very excited to announce that we’ll be offering four days of family Fair fun, this summer,” read a statement on the fairgrounds Facebook page Friday.

Details are still being worked out. “It may not be exactly as you remember in years past,” read the statement, but Aug. 4-7 there will be the traditional carnival rides and games, fair food, “major concerts” and entertainment, animals, exhibits, commercial vendors, car races and more.

More information will be released in the coming weeks, but the 2021 Fair hours will be noon to 10:30 p.m. each of the four days.
