Mollie Kay Elizabeth Poisel, 53, a Neilton resident, died at her home there Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Mollie Kay Elizabeth Poisel, 53, a Neilton resident, died at her home there Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, Oct. 5, 1963, the daughter of Dallas and Lucille (Patterson) Lamb.

The family moved to California and then on to Hoquiam when Mollie was in junior high school. She married Randall O. Poisel at Lake Quinault on Feb. 9, 1990. She had been a stay-at-home mom and homemaker for the family.

Mollie was a member of the Quinault Valley Chapel and served on the worship team at the church. She also enjoyed genealogy.

Her husband, Randall, survives her at their home in Neilton. There are two sons: John Henry Poisel, Aberdeen and Steven Randall Poisel, Lake Quinault; two brothers: William Lawson, Allegan, Mich. and Cecil Lawson; a sister: Barbara Benson, Tacoma and numerous nieces and nephews. Mollie was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Charles Lawson, and two sisters: Esther Bocock and Cynthia Walerson, two half-sisters: Norma Jean Lamb and Dian Lamb.

A celebration of Mollie’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, in the Quinault Valley Chapel, Neilton.
