Keith David Cramer, age 75, a resident of Oakville, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, Wash.

Keith David Cramer, age 75, a resident of Oakville, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, Wash. Mr. Cramer was born in Volin, S.D. on Sept. 26, 1942, to David C. and Madeline (Ludin) Cramer. He was raised in Davis, S.D., attended Elementary #19 District Country School and was a graduate of Lennox High School where he was a standout football player and made the All-State team.

He served a tour in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps. After his discharge, he returned to South Dakota where on Aug. 3, 1973, he and Mary Patricia Larenson were married. The couple moved to Washington state in 1980.

During his early years and for the past 15 years, he worked as a long-haul truck driver. He also owned a dairy farm near Porter, Wash.

In addition to his wife, Mary, surviving relatives include a daughter, Dayna Anne Cramer Safranek (Jan) of Monterey, Calif.; a brother, Larry Cramer (Linda) of Lennox, S.D.; and two sisters, Marilyn Ebright (Dennis) of Lennox, S.D. and Joyce Stratmeyer (John) of Tea, S.D.

An urn committal service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. July 9, 2018, at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, S.D.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam, Wash.
